Meet Dan 

Dan Schimmelpfenig

Dan is a global consulting executive who helps leaders translate complex technology transformation into measurable business impact. With more than 15 years of experience leading large-scale advisory engagements, Dan brings a rare blend of strategy, organizational psychology, and hands-on execution to some of the world’s most complex digital and AI-enabled transformations.

Dan has built and scaled Microsoft-aligned advisory and change practices across North America, Europe, and emerging markets, partnering closely with C-suite leaders, CIOs, and functional executives to drive adoption, accelerate value realization, and embed new ways of working. His work spans cloud modernization, AI-enabled operating models, digital workplace transformation, and enterprise platform adoption—always with a focus on governance, execution discipline, and sustained behavior change.

Before joining CloutLab, Dan served as a Managing Director at Avanade, an Accenture and Microsoft company, where he led a 250-person global organizational change consulting practice across 13 countries. In this role, he tripled global advisory revenue, established standardized transformation governance and KPIs, scaled AI readiness and adoption services, and built nearshore delivery capabilities that significantly improved execution consistency and client outcomes. He is widely recognized as a trusted executive advisor and has co-presented with client executives on sustaining enterprise transformation in high-stakes environments.

At CloutLab, Dan leads the Professional Services practice area, partnering with consulting, law, finance, and agency organizations to plan and deliver influence and relationship building programs for client service and delivery leaders.  He is passionate about helping leaders align strategy, technology, and human behavior.  

Dan holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marietta College.
