Amy Charlson Design is an independent graphic design consultancy creating thoughtful, strategic visual communications.

For over 25 years, Amy has collaborated with clients—including businesses in a variety of industries as well as nonprofits and academic institutions—from conception to execution, relying on understanding, intuition, and creativity to help clarify their messages and support their values and goals. Her process combines curiosity and intuition with sharp design thinking, project management, and precise craft.

Amy’s work encompasses brand identity, marketing and recruitment collateral, development and special event material, signage, and advertising—and everything in between.

Based in Chicago, IL, Amy enjoys mentoring early career designers and providing pro-bono solutions to community organizations. When not in the studio, Amy enjoys gardening, running and hiking, and traveling with her family.
